Zhiyun Molus G200 COB Light Summary
Although best known for their powerful gimbal stabilisers, Zhiyun has also garnered a reputation for creating innovative photo and video lighting solutions, which is enhanced by models such as this Zhiyun Molus G200 COB Light. Despite being extremely portable, this powerful COB light offers an impressive 300W maximum output with effortless adjustment of CCT and DMI.
A meticulous cooling system includes a heat sink, FOC fan and DynaVort Cooling System™, which is also seen in the handheld Zhiyun Fiveray V60 LED Light Wand and Fiveray V60 Combo. When using the included reflector you can achieve 61500 Lux, with 2700K - 6500K and extremely accurate CRI 95 and TLCI 97 for realistic, natural colours.
A number of features ensure versatility and expandability, from the universal slot for photographic umbrellas to the widely accepted Bowens Mount for studio lighting accessories. Additionally, the light supports professional workflows through one-touch moods and control via the ZY Vega App for remote dimming and quick preset switching.

Lighting done differently
Zhiyun’s innovative design separates the light body and controller, allowing for seamless integration with any lighting rig. The controller comes equipped with a convenient rope and features two interactive buttons and a display screen, making it simple and quick to achieve a wide range of functions - including pro-level lighting.
Cooling redefined
A new cooling system for the COB light and controller features heat sink, FOC fan and DynaVort Cooling System™ developed by ZHIYUN. This enables the light to deliver remarkably high-power output, while maintaining lightweight and bright.
Seamless control

Under normal usage the Zhiyun Molus G200 boasts a peak output of up to 200W, however with a one-press MAX Extreme mode you can harness a staggering peak output of up to 300W. This unrivalled power and performance provides the perfect amount of light to make your creative vision a reality.
Peak brightness in MAX Extreme mode:
- 13800 Lux (1m, without standard reflector)
- 85,800 Lux (1m, with ZHIYUN standard reflector)
*The peak brightness of the MAX Extreme mode is recorded when the light is at 100% brightness and the colour temperature is 4300K. The duration of continuous use in MAX Extreme mode may vary slightly depending on the ambient temperature. Operating under long-term high-temperature conditions may trigger frequency reduction protection or the high-temperature protection mechanism.
180° Flexibility
A 180° adjustable arm and full-range rotation capabilities are integrated, making it easy to adapt to any creative environment. A universal umbrella slot also makes the professional lighting effortless and convenient.
Personal Lighting Assistant
The free ZY Vega App supports Bluetooth Mesh networking, allowing for remote dimming and quick switching of presets.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
