The VEO SPH is a universal smartphone holder which is designed to take your smartphonography to a new level, whether it's for photos, vlogging, video calls, gaming, and much more.
The clamp opens to accommodate smartphones from 57-90mm wide, with a rubber padding on the back and each clamp to prevent damage to your smartphone.
On the top of the smartphone clamp is a cold shoe mount that allows you to attach an accessory such as a microphone or light directly, or using a VEO CSM or VEO CSM DLX. Alternatively, if you want to add additional accessories, you can with one of our VEO CSMM Multi-Mounts.
The clamp is attached to the base by a ball joint that allows you to rotate your camera round 360° for landscape shots, portrait shots, or level shots on uneven terrain. It also allows you to swivel your camera +/- 40° to frame your shot (or see the screen for your video call/game) with ease.
The upright support column clicks into place with ease, and a spring pin ensures it doesn't fall over by mistake. It also includes a 1/4" thread with bayonet slots to allow you to attach a magic arm such as one of the VEO TSA Tripod Support Arms for even more versatility.
When folded, the upright support arm can also be used as a simple hand grip for your smartphone, leaving the screen easy to access.
The base is Arca compatible, which means that you can attach it to almost any Arca compatible tripod head. It can also stand upright on it's own on a flat surface like a table.
The base also includes a choice of a 1/4" or 3/8" thread. This allows you to attach the VEO SPH directly to any monopod or tripod, replacing the need for a separate head, or to attach another magic arm or two.
This little accessory is a real game changer that guarantees to enhance your creativity, either as a stand-alone item or linked with a host of Vanguard's VEO Accessories.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
*All of our used items are listed with the accessories that are included. If they are not listed, then they will not be supplied at the point of purchase.
Peace of mind with our 6 month warranty
This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
