Sensor The 16.3 megapixel APC-S size X-Trans CMOS II sensor uses Fujifilm's colour filter array and eliminates the need for an optical low-pass filter. It can produce brilliant high quality images that rival those taken on cameras with larger sensors. Image processing engine The EXR Processor II engine captures high resolution imagery quickly and speeds up operational responses. Start-up time is approximately 0.5 seconds, as is the shooting interval. Shutter time lag is 0.01 seconds. Lens and tele-Converter The X70's 18.5mm F2.8 wide-angle fixed lens is optimised for the sensor and delivers excellent levels of detail and clarity. The wide aperture lens allows even light distribution and is designed specifically for the X70, constructed from seven elements in five groups with two aspherical lenses which correct any distortions. With the digital tele-Converter, it shoots at the 28mm wide-angle equivalent, as well as at 35mm and 50mm. The focusing ring works as a control ring, except when manually focussing, so it's quick to change the angle of view. LCD screen The X70's 3" 1.04 million-dot LCD monitor is tiltable to 180°, so you can shoot from high or low angles and also makes it perfect for taking selfies. The touch-sensitive screen is a first for X-Series cameras and makes it simple to quickly take a picture with Touch Shot. You can also use smartphone type movements, such as dragging, swiping, pinch-zooming, and double-tapping to enlarge. focusing The X70 has an intelligent hybrid autofocus system and uses a new algorithm for enhancing low-light performance of contrast autofocus, combined with the fast autofocusing speed of phase detection autofocus at 0.1 seconds. Single point autofocus divides the focusing area into smaller sections to achieve a more accurate way to focus. Face and eye detection capability makes shooting portraits easier than ever. Pinpoint accurate focusing is guaranteed, with six available autofocus modes to select from. Video Full HD video at 24, 25, 30, 50, and 60 frames per second is included. Aperture, shutter speed, and exposure compensation can be adjusted and you can choose to use aperture priority, shutter priority, manual and program modes just as you would when shooting still photographs, and a choice of film simulation modes is also available. Design The X70's design is lightweight and compact and weighs just 340g with the memory card and battery. It has a textured, large handgrip and an expensive look and feel. |

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
