The Summit Creative Medium Rolltop Camera Backpack Tenzing 30L Black is the smallest in a range of versatile and extremely comfortable adventure backpacks designed for photographers and creators. It combines comfort and durability with the versatility to add 5 litres of storage capacity in the top rolltop compartment, which is ideal for jackets, waterproofs, or any other gear you need for your outdoor adventures.
The tough backpack is perfect for travel and hiking, thanks to a water-repellant nylon fabric exterior, which is designed to withstand the elements. The Summit Creative backpack also includes water-resistant Japanese YKK zippers and hard-wearing American Duraflex buckles. This model is also well suited for travel, thanks to the luggage passthrough strap on the well-padded rear, as well as being carry-on compliant with a number of airlines, although we always recommend that you check prior to travel.
Access to your equipment is easy via the large rear panel or convenient side sling-type access, and you can bring a laptop or tablet up to 14 inches in the dedicated laptop compartment. Your camera and content equipment are protected by a configurable HSP-EVA Core Divider Protection system, which is scratch-resistant and shockproof.
All dividers are removable, allowing you to use the bag purely as an adventure backpack when you don’t need to carry any photo equipment. The hanging system on the exterior includes straps for attaching tripods, skis, walking poles, lighting stands, and plenty of other gear you might need.

It not only offers secure storage and protection for your camera gear, but also caters to mountaineers, travellers, adventurers, and field operatives.
The backpack features an ergonomic inverted "U"-shaped aluminium tube support structure that ensures stability, reduces shake, and helps lighten the load to your back. An integrated breathable back pad, along with adjustable multifunction shoulder straps, chest strap, and waist belt, ensures a high level of configurability, comfort and excellent ventilation, even during long outdoor treks fully loaded with equipment.
Made from high-tech, water-resistant and wear-resistant fabric, the backpack includes YKK waterproof zippers and durable branded buckles. The adjustable equipment compartment uses an HPS-EVA core protection system, while a variety of external hanging capabilities allow you to adapt to changing outdoor needs by bringing gear specially for each situation. Quick side access means you won’t miss any action when you are shooting on the go, ensuring that you are always ready.
Adaptable storage with easy access
Customise the internal storage space for your equipment and personal items by configuring the internal divider system to accommodate the full, half, or any other amount of equipment you need. The top space below the rolltop can even be expanded to accommodate instances when you have more clothing or personal items.
A secure reverse opening design with quick left-side access allows easy access to your camera, while the expandable front pocket significantly increases the capacity of the outer pocket, making it perfect for storing quick-access items. It can even accommodate a camera stabiliser or similar equipment.
The side pocket of the Tenzing camera bag is designed to fit a large water bottle, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts who need to stay hydrated, and it includes a dedicated rain cover for protection against the elements.
Professional carrying system
The stress-relief ergonomic carry system features an inverted U-shaped aluminium pipe and a custom-made 3D integrated moulding EVA back panel, providing premium support and comfort. The adjustable high-performance XPE S-shaped shoulder straps also include handy pockets for storing your phone, a small water bottle, or any other items you need quick access to.
A fully adjustable and removable waist strap features a pocket to keep small belongings secure and readily available, while the sternum chest strap is equipped with a universal safety whistle for emergencies.
Additional features
This hiking and camera backpack combines a range of useful features for photographers and adventurers that might otherwise go unnoticed. These include the blue interior, which makes it easy to locate even small accessories stored inside.
Translucent mesh accessory pockets on the inner flap of the main compartment are perfect for organising various camera accessories, such as small LED lights, batteries, and memory cards. Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions.
