Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM Lens Summary
The Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM lens is the 12th outstanding G Master arriving hot on the heels of the recently announced FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM. The 35mm is a large aperture prime lens with versatile focal width, ideally suited to stills photography and videography on any full frame Sony camera. Sony has drawn from the premium design of the 24mm f/1.4 G Master, with the newer 35mm just a hair larger and fraction heavier at 524g. It is still a surprisingly compact lens which presents an excellent option for all day shooting of subjects as diverse as landscapes, portraits, street photography and travel.

Professional features are to be found throughout the design of the FE 35mm f/1.4 GM. These include an aperture ring with F-stop engravings, on/off switch for 1/3 click stops, linear response manual focus ring and body-customisable focus-hold button.
