Looking to sell your Sigma 23mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Sony E?

Our Verdict

35mm is an incredibly popular and versatile focal width, which ensures the Sigma 23mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Sony E is a notable option from the outset. You can capture anything from portraits and street photography, to landscapes and travel, especially as Sigma’s Contemporary lens is so compact and light. This also makes this a great option as a day-to-day walk around lens for snapshots of anything which catches your eye.

The bright aperture lends itself to low light shooting and subject separation, with creamy smooth defocus backgrounds and rounded bokeh. You can also shoot backlit subjects confident that this prime will ender high contrast with minimal flare and ghosting to deal with when processing your shots.

A stepping motor keeps pace with moving subjects, whilst being compatible with Sony’s effective subject recognition and tracking systems, as well as AF assist. Topping off the list of benefits is a weather sealed brass mount and inner focus system, which ensure you can shoot outdoors and capture stunning results even during light rain. If you’re thinking about adding a 35mm equivalent prime lens to your creative toolbox this option from Sigma warrants serious consideration.
