Looking to sell your Sigma 17mm f/4 DG DN Contemporary Lens for L Mount?

Our Verdict

The release of the Sigma 17mm F4 DG DN | Contemporary lens will be most welcome by L mount creators as it offers an alternative ultra wide prime, which is both lightweight and sharp. It shares the same compact 55mm filter thread as other Contemporary primes such as the 24mm F3.5 DG DN and 90mm F2.8 DG DN in order to share lens filter for photography and video creation.

At 225g the 17mm f/4 DG DN Contemporary is light enough to accompany anyone on their travels and the lens features an all-metal lens barrel and aluminium parts, with a weather sealed L mount. The features inside are just as impressive, with a fast stepping motor which is compatible with high-speed autofocus and 9 lens elements, 5 of which are special glass.

The optical formula renders excellent results for both stills and video while the ultra wide 103.7° angle of view is ideal for anything from landscapes and cityscapes to street photography and interiors. You can also vlog with the lens which supports a 12cm minimum focus distance.

If you’re a keen photographer or hybrid creator who enjoys sharp results with beautiful details from ultra wide subjects, this lens is a brilliant choice, particularly if you travel or hike to destinations.
