The Panasonic Lumix G97 Mirrorless Camera Body Black is a compact G-Series micro four-thirds camera from Panasonic, which brings key updates such as improved ergonomics and usability for hybrid creators. These include a new vertical video recording mode for Vertical social channels, a REC frame indicator so you always know when the camera is recording, and an upgraded 1,840k-dot LCD touchscreen for enhanced usability.

At its core, the G97 camera is based on the same 20.3MP MFT sensor (without a low-pass filter) and high-power Venus image processing engine as its predecessors, such as the G90. 20.3MP Digital Live MOS Sensor and Venus Engine

5-Axis Image Stabilisation and Dual I.S. 2
When shooting handheld, users can achieve excellent sharpness thanks to Dual I.S. 2 stabilisation, which combines 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilisation with lens-based optical image stabilisation. This system compensates for up to five stops of camera shake, delivering sharper and clearer images. Note that Dual I.S. 2 requires a compatible MFT Lumix lens with O.I.S.
4K Video Recording and movie features
This generation MFT camera supports high-quality internal 4K video recording at 30p, 100Mbps (3840x2160), with 8-bit colour depth and 4:2:0 sampling. Slow motion can be captured at up to FHD 4x or a maximum of 8x when using Slow & Quick recording at 60p (1/2, 2x, 4x, or 8x).
For external video recording, audio recording, and advanced monitoring, the G97 body includes:

4K Photo capabilities include:

- Pre-burst is a valuable feature for capturing sudden or erratic movements, such as birds taking flight, allowing users to choose from a sequence of images recorded before the shutter button is fully pressed.
- Burst mode enables video playback, where the shutter button can be used to mark a specific frame as an 8MP still image.
Contrast AF system
Panasonic’s 49-area DFD technology leverages depth prediction to deliver accurate autofocus with sharp results, incorporating Face/Eye Detection and subject tracking. The system performs well even in dim lighting, with AF sensitivity down to -4 EV, benefiting both still and video recording modes.
Updated body design and improved connectivity

At just 530g (with battery and memory card) the Lumix G97 remains extremely compact and lightweight for handheld use, as well as being portable for travel and run-and-gun content creation.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
