| Sensor The Nikon Coolpix A300 compact camera has a large 20.1 megapixel image sensor which offers excellent light performance, guaranteeing clear and detailed shots, even in low light. Lens The lens on the Nikon A300 has an 8x optical zoom - extendable to 16x Dynamic Fine Zoom, which offers a wide-angle 25mm to 200mm view (35mm equivalent). Vibration Reduction The Coolpix A300 features Nikon's High-performance Vibration Reduction (VR) technology, which minimises camera shake even when at full zoom when shooting stills or HD movies. It also has Lens-shift VR which delivers an effect equivalent to a shutter speed 3.0 stops faster (at the maximum telephoto position). LCD monitor The A300 incorporates a 2.7 inch (6.7 centimetre) 230k-dot LCD monitor which delivers sharp and clear images - even in bright and sunny conditions - due to its anti-reflective coating and 5 levels of brightness adjustment. Modes and effects The Coolpix A300 includes Nikon's Smart Portrait mode which lets you know if your subject blinks when you are taking a photo of them, and can automatically take a shot when they smile. You can also apply Glamour retouch enhancements to soften skin tones, and can apply various make-up effects such as Lipstick, Mascara, and Eye shadow. Self-collage mode takes a series of either 4 or 9 shots and saves them as 1 collage photograph, as well as saving them individually. Scene auto selector automatically chooses the best mode for your shooting conditions, Target finding AF automatically detects your subject, and Panorama assist makes it easy to capture impressive panoramic landscape shots. Various Special effects are included such as the Mirror effect that will display your subject and a mirrored version of them in 1 image. Selective Colour adds a splash of colour to monochrome images, and Nostalgic sepia applies a vintage look. Quick effects such as Fisheye or Painting are also available, as well as Cross screen, which adds a starburst effect to light sources. SnapBridge Nikon's SnapBridge feature lets you keep a continuous, low-power connection to your smart device, so you can sync shots while you shoot, as well as control camera functions via your phone and a whole lot more. With a battery life of around 240 shots per battery charge, you can shoot away and never worry about missing that decisive moment. |

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
