Manfrotto Cold Shoe Spring Clamp in more detail

Fixed to the clamp is a reliable, multi position Manfrotto centre ball head with full pan and tilt movement. Once the clamp is attached to the chosen surface, a single locking knob on the ball head then allows the user to precisely position the accessory at the correct angle and with a simple twist lock it firmly in position. On top of the ball head is Manfrotto’s highly acclaimed shoe mount mechanism. This unique mount allows the user to easily and securely, fasten their chosen accessory to the ball head. Simply unscrew the ring to open the shoe, slide in the accessory, then tighten the ring to lock it firmly to the ball head.

In addition to the ball head, the clamp also features a 5/8” (16mm) socket and a 5/8” (16mm) spigot with 3/8” female thread providing the option to attach an additional accessory or for the clamp to be attached to a light stand or support arm. This extremely versatile clamp is sure to capture the imagination of today’s creative image-makers. Its compact form factor, super-fast set up time and clever design makes it easier than ever to place essential accessories in a range of off camera locations whether it be up high, at ground level, hidden out of sight or in confined spaces, opening up a whole host of creative opportunities.
