The Action Pod is IPX4 water resistant when GO 3 is installed, and protects against rain and snow, but should not be submerged in water or used for activities involving high-velocity water such as surfing, and waterskiing. To capture memorable images for those activities, simply take the camera out of Action Pod and shoot just with the camera.

The revolutionary Action Pod included with GO 3 provides impressive battery life of up to 170 minutes. The Action Pod also has its own 1270 mAh integrated battery that recharges through USB-C and when the GO 3 battery is depleted, simply place it on the Action Pod and it automatically starts recharging.

The flip touchscreen on the Action Pod makes it effortless to shoot perfectly framed selfies, flawless vlogging, and accurate handheld shooting with the GO 3. When the camera is mounted elsewhere you can even use the Action Pod to preview your shots and snap away like a pro, from a distance of around 5 metres.
