Hawke Laser Rangefinder 400 Summary
The Hawke Laser Rangefinder 400 provides accurate distance measurement with a field of view of 114m @ 1000m. It offers precise distances up to 400m, while being easy to use in the field, with 6x magnification, an adjustable dioptre, and a fully multi-coated optical system with BK-7 prisms for a clear view of the subject.
It features three operating modes, enabling the Laser Rangefinder 400 to adapt to different conditions. Standard mode measures the straight-line distance to a subject, with an Active Scan function that continuously updates the reading when the power button is held down. Rain mode ignores interference from raindrops for accurate readings in wet conditions, while Flag mode actively searches for the nearest flag, which is useful for precise distance measurements on open landscapes.

The device is compact, lightweight, and nitrogen-purged for waterproof and fog-proof performance, and features an auto shut-off function, which helps conserve battery life, all while being backed by Hawke’s two-year warranty.

Operating Modes
Standard mode
Standard mode measures the straight line distance to the subject you are aiming at. It is measured to the nearest yard/metre. When there is nothing displayed in the targeting modes area of the display (to the left of the distance), you are in Standard mode.
Active Scan: If you hold the POWER button while in Standard mode the range finder will continuously scan so you can move around and get constant updates of the distance.
Rain mode
Rain mode measures the straight line distance to the subject, but ignores any interference from falling raindrops.
Flag mode
Flag mode measures the straight line distance to the pin by actively searching for the flag sitting in the foreground, ideal for measuring the distance to the pin and helping with club selection. When Flag mode is triggered the icon will have a circle around it.
