Canon XF200 Professional Camcorder
The new Canon XF200 is a compact, yet powerful video camera with a range of professional functions and high levels of image quality. Featuring a Canon HD lens with 20x optical zoom, it works alongside Canon's latest HD CMOS PRO imaging sensor and a powerful DIGIC div 4 processor. Combined with 50Mbps mapEG recording and 4:2:2 colour sampling, the result is video quality suitable for broadcast, with high sensitivity and wide dynamic range that delivers excellent results, even in low light situations.

Advanced Canon imaging system
The XF200 features an advanced camera system capable of providing outstanding images and the responsiveness to deal with all kinds of shooting situations. A 26.8mm wide-angle lens with 20x zoom gets you closer to the action, while Dynamic Optical Image Stabilisation compensates for shake in 5 directions to provide ultra-steady images.
A Canon HD CMOS Pro sensor combines with the DIGIC DV 4 processor to deliver stunning picture quality - even in low light - as well as outstanding dynamic range and realistic colour reproduction. Wide DR Gamma helps to reduce over-exposure, whilst an infrared shooting mode means the camera can easily be used at night - ideal for the wildlife videographer.
Picture quality is complemented by advanced audio functions, with 4-channel Linear PCM audio recording supported.
Comfort and precise control
Compact in size, unobtrusive and a pleasure to use thanks to its 3-lens ring operation and rotatable grip, the XF200 also provides impressively high quality monitoring options. An OLED screen with a 1.23m dot resolution is easy to view, even in bright sunlight, offering better response times, definition, contrast and colour reproduction than LCD equivalents. A sizeable 1.14cm (0.45â€) 1.23m dot EVF can tilt up to 68° to accommodate different shooting positions.
Versatile recording options
The XF200's dual format recording feature provides flexibility, speed and data security. Footage can be captured simultaneously in two different formats, providing instant back-up and alternate delivery options. Full HD images can be stored on two CF cards using a broadcast standard 50Mbps MPEG2 codec, whilst an MP4 version can be saved to an SD card in either Full HD or a lower resolution - ideal for rapid file transfer in applications such as news gathering. It's even possible to stream low resolution proxy files directly to another device such as a smartphone.
Integrate and share
Sharing content is easy thanks to built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity. Footage can be reviewed on another device such as a tablet or smartphone, or transferred directly via FTP.
This connectivity also allows for remote control of the camera via a web browser And Canon's RC-V100 wired remote controller can be configured too.

The XF200 provides greater choice and greater freedom, whether you're an experienced user, or a amateur. With its compact size and rotating grip, it's easy to use and give additional control.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
