The EOS C500 Mark II comes equipped with a DIGIC DV 7 image processor, facilitating efficient recording formats to meet various production needs. It supports 12-bit Cinema RAW Light internal recording, at up to 5.9K resolution, with compatibility across Full Frame, 4:3, 6:5, Super 35mm, and Super 16mm sensor modes, catering to diverse workflow demands.
Furthermore, the 12-bit Cinema RAW Light format is adaptable, thanks to new firmware updates offering a range of data rate options up to 2.1Gbps through Cinema RAW Light LT, ST, and HQ recording modes.

Configurable and modular design
With its highly configurable and modular design, the EOS C500 Mark II offers extensive flexibility to accommodate diverse production needs. Optional Extension Units provide additional connectivity and functionality, enhancing the camera's versatility. The Extension Unit EU-V1 expands connectivity options with features like a Genlock interface. For even more versatility, the Extension Unit EU-V2 offers additional interfaces such as two extra XLR inputs and a V-Lock battery mount for extended recording sessions. Designed specifically for multi-camera live productions, the Extension Unit EU-V3 supports features like Tally and Return Signal support.
Furthermore, the optional EVF-V50 viewfinder is perfectly suited for handheld use and can be easily detached for gimbal applications, ensuring seamless adaptability in various shooting scenarios.

First EOS Cinema camera with Electronic IS
The EOS C500 Mark II marks a milestone, as the first Cinema EOS camera to integrate Electronic Image Stabilization (IS) directly into its body. This innovative feature enables 5-axis camera shake correction, enhancing stability and smoothness in footage.
Notably, Electronic IS functionality remains accessible even when using lenses without electronic communication capabilities. Users can manually input the focal length to enable Electronic IS, ensuring consistent stabilisation regardless of lens compatibility.
HFR recording
Users can capture high frame rate (HFR) recordings with ease. The C500 Mark II camera supports frame rates up to a maximum of 50/60 fps at 5.9K resolution. In 2K (crop) mode, settings ranging from 1fps to a maximum of 120fps offer expanded creative opportunities.
A newly introduced Slow & Fast button provides quick access to adjust settings for slow-motion and fast-motion recording, empowering users to effortlessly explore different frame rates and enhance their creativity.

- ACES Support – Support for the ACES 1.0 of the Academy Color Encoding System, and video output from the camera can be monitored by selecting the ACES Proxy.
- Canon Multi-Camera Control App – Users can simultaneously control up to four professional video cameras with a smartphone via Wi-Fi by taking advantage of Canon’s XC protocol built-in to numerous Cinema EOS and XF cameras.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions.
