Calibrite ColorChecker Classic Summary

The Calibrite ColorChecker Classic is manufactured by X-rite and synonymous with colour calibration. This classic A4 size target works perfectly for Digital Photography to create camera profiles, check images, correct white balance and perform colour correction. It is also ideal for Film Photography, Filmmaking where it can be used for colour grading to check cameras and lights and Graphic Arts for printing or proofing.

ColorChecker Classic targets have been used by Colour perfectionists for the past decade to create custom DNG profiles for photography software including Adobe Lightroom® and Photoshop® workflows. Now you can also build custom ICC camera profiles for use in Capture One® (or other ICC compatible software) when you combine ColorChecker Classic with Calibrite ColorChecker Camera Calibration software. You’ll get accurate colour at capture based on specific lighting, camera and lens combination during any given shoot, saving valuable time in edit.

This is the standard size of the ColorChecker Classic that has been an essential tool for demanding imagemakers for more than 40 years.

ColorChecker Classic XL:

This is a larger version of the ColorChecker classic for those shots taken at a greater distance like at an outdoor event, on a larger set or for drone photography.

ColorChecker Classic MEGA:

The MEGA version is for those applications that require the target to be a very long distance from the camera and still be able to be imaged with enough resolution to be useable for making corrections.
