Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 Summary
The next generation Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 gives you the power of a broadcast quality live production camera, within an ultra-compact body to save space on set. This means that your productions can reach new heights, without the expense and cumbersome nature of full-sized studio cameras. You can also utilise HDMI and 12G-SDI output and record BlackMagic to external USB-C drives for subsequent productions and editing.
Blackmagic has incorporated a 4K micro four thirds sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range for unprecedented low light performance, with the Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 able to capture stunning Ultra HD images in all lighting conditions.
A host of professional broadcast connections make it perfect for any kind of work including television productions, broadcast news, sports and education, providing the benefits of a large studio camera in a tiny rugged body, which you can put virtually anywhere.
The primary native ISO 400 is ideal for use under studio lighting, whilst the secondary high base ISO of 3200 is perfect when shooting in dimly lit environments. The pro video camera uses the latest generation 5 colour science from Blackmagic Design, which is able to capture much better images than simple broadcast cameras, when combined with the built in DaVinci Resolve primary colour corrector.
