On Monday 10th March 2025, we were overjoyed as we were presented with an Amateur Photographer Magazine Good Service Award at the iconic Underglobe in London.
Now in its 48th year, the Amateur Photographer Awards have honoured the visionaries who have inspired and transformed the photography world as well as individuals who, through their passion, dedication, and talent, have become catalysts for change in an ever-evolving industry. From seasoned professionals to emerging talents, the AP Awards celebrate the photographers who have made a difference and sparked inspiration.
The awards also recognise and celebrate the finest cameras, lenses and accessories reviewed throughout the past 12 months, and recognizes the UK’s best photo retailers through the Good Service Awards.
Good specialist retailers play a vital role in helping photography to thrive as a hobby and an industry. Winning an Amateur Photographer Good Service Award is a sign that says: ‘This is a business you can trust.’ By shopping at a retailer displaying a Good Service Award you are assured of a great customer experience while also supporting jobs and businesses in the UK. These awards are voted for by the public who feel that the retailer they’ve nominated goes the extra mile to provide them with the right information and the right products to help their photographic journey – all at a great price.
Speaking of the award, Park Cameras Commercial Director Frank Keenan said “For over 10 years in a row, we’re really pleased to win an Amateur Photographer Magazine Good Service Award in 2025. We pride ourselves in offering customers high levels of customer service both in our stores, online and on the phone, with all colleagues aiming to give good, honest advice to suit the needs of our customers across the UK. We’re overjoyed that our efforts have been recognised, and thank all who took the time to vote for us!”.
