DJI Remote Controllers Firmware Updates

NEWS: In August 2024 DJI introduced firmware updates for three drone remote controllers. It is recommended by DJI support that all users update their controller in order to take advantage of the latest features and remove known bugs, which are addressed by firmware updates.

August 2024 DJI Remote Controllers Firmware Updates

Updates are available for:

  • DJI RC Remote Controller Firmware: v01.03.1700 (for Mavic 3 series, Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, and DJI Air 2S drone)
  • DJI RC 2 Remote Controller Firmware: v02.02.0300 (for DJI Mini 4 Pro and DJI Air 3)
  • DJI RC Pro Remote Controller Firmware: v03.02.0900 (for Mavic 3 series, Mini 3 Pro, and Air 2S)

How to update your DJI RC firmware

Turn on the drone and remote controller. When the app connects to the drone, tap ‘update’ if prompted about new firmware. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the network; the app will automatically download the firmware. That’s it!
